BISE 0900 Mechanical Aptitude Test

This four part series test is timed at 1 hour and 10 minutes, and it is often used as a Pre-Employment test with immediate results of the tester’s scores in: Mechanical and Spatial Relations / Applied Shop Math / Shop Theory / Mechanical Reasoning. This Mechanical aptitude test, mechanical reasoning test, applied mathematics, and blueprint / spatial relations, are commonly administered for precision machining and technical positions. This comprehensive mechanical aptitude test measures the ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles, it tests for shop mathematics, blueprint reading, and basic quality control measurement skills.

• This four part mechanical aptitude test includes a set of mechanical problems that must be completed in a predefined time: 1 hour 10 min
• The time limit is designed so that only 1% to 5% of the population can correctly solve all the test questions within the allowed timeframe.
• Each test question has only one correct answer.
• Each test question offers a mechanical scenario that might include: 2 and 3 D concepts in blueprints, basic spatial relations, measurement, safety, mechanical reasoning and theory, gears, springs, etc.
• There are 100 problems total therefore expect to have around 30 seconds to complete each test question.
• The level of complexity and difficulty of test varies from basic to advanced.
